Breaking news - ex-navy pilot describes encounter with tic-tac-shaped extraterrestrial.

David Fravor is a A US Navy squadron commander claims to have seen an object fly on the size of an F / A-18 fighter like a white Tic Tac. He further revealed that this 40-foot-long object had moved at a very fast pace.

He witnessed this strange flying object on November 14, 2004, off the coast of California.

One of David Fravor's important comments is that he thinks "it's not from this world", and he also think that he have had an encounter with aliens, a memory he could not forget even though time had quickly passed.

His recent comments in an interview with ABC News made people pay more attention to UFOs.

What is a UFO?

An unidentified flying object or UFO, is defined as a perceived object in the sky, not identifiable by standard criteria. However the term is widely used in popular culture to refer more specifically to claimed observations of extraterrestrial craft.

Most UFOs are later identified as conventional objects or phenomena (e.g., aircraft, weather balloons, clouds). Some of them are not identified, either because of lack of evidence or because no conventional explanation can be found despite extensive evidence. Some people consider the latter cases as possible observations of extraterrestrial space craft.

In December 2017, The New York Times presented an updated overview of the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP)—a secret modern UFO program FUNDED by The Pentagon from 2007 to 2012.

UFOs have become a prevalent theme in modern culture, and the social phenomena have been the subject of academic research in sociology and psychology.

Some other witnesses about UFOs:

In 1973, an Alitalia airplane left Rome for Naples sighted a mysterious round object. Two Italian Air Force planes from Ciampino confirmed the sighting. In the same year there was another sighting at Caselle airport near Turin.

A close encounter reported in September 1978 in Torrita di Siena in the Province of Siena. A young motorist saw in front of him a bright object, two beings of small stature who wore suits and helmets, the two approached the CAR, and after watching it carefully went back and rose again to the UFO. A boy who lived with his family in a country house not far from there said he had seen at the same time "a kind of small reddish sun".

Yet in 1978, there has been also the story of Pier Fortunato Zanfretta, the best known and most controversial case of an Italian alleged alien abduction. Zanfretta said to have been kidnapped on the night of 6 December and 7 December while he was performing his job at Marzano, in the municipality of Torriglia in the Province of Genoa; 52 testimonies of the case from other people were collected.
