Things could be looking for the Lakers but it would be a
long climb.
On March 7, 2017, the Los Angeles Lakers hired Rob Pelinka
as general manager, contracting him on a five-year contract. The Lakers won the
second place, this time in the 1977 NBA draft, and picked up Lonzo Ball from
UCLA.
Lonzo Anderson Ball was born on October 27, 1997. He is a
professional American basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the
National Basketball Association (NBA).
The Lakers, 26-56 last season, have their own concerns. But
after waiting too much, they believe that they are moving forward. The Lakers
were hoping to start the new season and celebrate Lonzo Ball for the NBA,
believing that there will be better moves.
Many have argued that Ball is the basis of the Lakers'
future, and perhaps he must prepare to face a stronger opponent than him in a
season at UCLA.
However, in Thursday's season-opening 108-92 loss to the Los
Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball said that we
were blown away so he did not play well. Lonzo Ball was denounced by Clippers guard Patrick Beverley for most
of the night, he had only shot three times in 29 games that included Beverley.
Let's wait and see Ball and Lakers will have the opportunity
to get a follow-up Friday when they face
a Phoenix Suns team that broke 124-76 by the Portland Trail Blazers on
Wednesday of October 2017.
More information about Lonzo Ball:
He played college basketball for a season with UCLA Bruins,
earning the All-American's first All-American title before the Lakers picked
him up with the second pick of the NBA's 1977 draft.
